Everyone has a unique proposal story. From a cozy, casual proposal in the living room to an extravagant one at a castle on vacation, I love hearing all the different stories and how they are personalized for each couple. For this proposal, I got to play a role. The proposal session is a different type of beast. You build the plan, know the queues, but you still just don’t know how it’ll ultimately go down, so you have to always be ready. For this couple, we were doing a “couples” session since she wanted to work with me regardless. She had no idea her partner was going to be proposing. Capturing the reaction was so much fun, and it totally changed the vibe afterward from general excitement to “oh my gosh, we’re engaged now” excitement – which of course means ALL. SMILES.
